Earlier this week, Schochor, Federico and Staton was proud to partner with the Kristin Rita Strouse Foundation and serve as the presenting sponsor of the Yellow Dress Golf Classic at Hayfields Country Club.

The Foundation, which was started by Douglas and Sharon Strouse in 2001 after their daughter Kristin ended her own life, is dedicated to supporting programs that increase mental health awareness through education and the arts.

“We all know Doug and Sharon Strouse and admire the remarkable way they have the strength to turn personal tragedy into a positive vehicle for education, awareness and hope,” said Managing Partner Jonathan Schochor.

Over the years, the Foundation has contributed more than $1 million to mental health awareness and suicide prevention programs, a great deal of which was raised through its annual event, the Yellow Dress Golf Classic.

As a major sponsor of the Foundation since its inception 13 years ago, Schochor, Federico and Staton recognizes the importance of the organization’s mission and look forward to playing a part in its continued impact.
