Partners Jonathan Goldberg and James Cardea obtained a $645,000 verdict against Aruna Paspula, M.D. in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. The case involved the failure to refer a 64 year old gentleman, Robert Suryadeth, with risk factors for coronary artery disease to a cardiologist before surgery. Mr. Suryadeth died a few hours after undergoing surgery. He is survived by his wife and three adult children.
