Biography of Jonathan E. Goldberg

Jonathan E. Goldberg is an associate at the firm of Schochor, Federico and Staton, P.A., where he practices medical malpractice law, product liability law and civil litigation. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Mr. Goldberg graduated from the University of Maryland College Park in 1988. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore, where he graduated magnum cum laude in 1991.
Mr. Goldberg was admitted to the bar in Maryland in 1991, he was admitted to the bar of the District Court for the District of Maryland in 1992, the bar of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in 2005 and the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States in 2000.
He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice and the American Bar Association. He has served as the co-Chair of the Medical Malpractice Subcommittee of the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Goldberg is also a member of the Bar Association for Baltimore City where he has served on the executive committee.
Mr. Goldberg was a member of the University of Baltimore School of Law Bar Review where he served as the business editor. He is also a member of the Heisler Honor Society. He has given several lectures and presentations in the areas of medical malpractice issues throughout the state of Maryland. Prior to representing clients injured due to medical negligence, Mr. Goldberg spent approximately 14 years defending health care providers in medical malpractice lawsuits.
